Parkland International are pleased to announce the launch of its new North American facility, Parkland International Inc, based west of Portland, Maine (ME). Recognising the need for a North American presence to complement successful growth across Europe, Parkland has opened the Portland, Maine (ME) facility under the leadership of Director Chris van Haasteren.
Chris, already an experienced manufacturer across the converting industry, says that, “This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of the Parkland team and launch an established product range into the US, it will provide the North American market with new technology for the converting industry, providing increased productivity, greater quality and accuracy and advanced health & safety requirements”.
Parkland International established 35 years in Europe manufactures capital equipment for the converting industry. Parkland specialises in two main product ranges namely Slitting Rewinding and Core Cutting Machines. Company Director Damian Kelly points to the organisations successful track record of producing quality equipment for the converting industry. “Initial meetings with Chris illustrated an ambition that corresponds with our own. A strategy was set out and an agreement reached promptly and efficiently. Opening a new facility with Chris at the helm provided the obvious foundation for a long and fruitful venture”.
Parkland International Inc will offer the North American market a location that will provide future customers with the reassurance that local knowledge, culture, markets and trends will be considered. This will be fundamental when providing the market with a new exciting range of products for the converting industry.
