Parkland International established in the UK over 30 years ago designs and manufactures capital machinery for the Converting Industry. The company is located in a modern, well-equipped factory in Bury situated approximately 15 kilometres north of Manchester, having excellent access to the National Motorway Network and Manchester International Airport.
Parkland specialises in two main product ranges of machinery namely Slitting Machines and Core Cutting Machines. These products have been and are currently being supplied to both the UK and Export markets.
All Slitting Machines are made to order from a range of standard designs which are modular in construction. This allows the customer to select the features they require adding onto the basic model type, in order to produce either simple or sophisticated Slitting Machines specifically for their material and production requirements.
The whole range of slitting techniques is available i.e. rotary shear, cold crush cut, hot roller crush cut and either razor-in-air or razor-in-groove slitting.
All Slitting Machines have a variety of control system options, automatic knife setting, digital knife setting, air differential rewind shafts, laser core positioning and material handling equipment at the unwind and rewind sections.
Type TC10 & TC20 Manual and TC35 Automatic Core Cutting Machines are manufactured in batches for stock and assembled to customer order. The larger Type TC30 Manual and TC40 Automatic Core Cutting Machines are only made to order.
Core Cutting machines are also designed on a modular basis with a variety of hardware and software options being available to improve performance and efficiency. Parkland is the leading supplier of single knife Core Cutting Machines for cardboard and plastic material in the UK and has various demonstration models in the factory in Bury available for customer inspection and cutting trials.
Quality and attention to detail ensure that completed machines leave the UK
factory in first class condition for a long trouble free life with a minimum
of maintenance. Painting and powder coating all static parts including guards
attain a high quality finish whilst all mechanical parts where practical are
electroplated for corrosion resistance. Complimenting the above is Parkland’s
